How We Work to Ensure your Project is Successful
Once we understand the scope of your project, we'll provide you a quotation. Upon proposal acceptance, we follow these steps to deliver your project to you successfully:1) Consultation: We'll ask you questions to be sure we understand YOUR vision of success: your goals, preferences, and target audience. We'll provide any suggestions we have related to your project for your consideration.
2) Content: UmeWorks can provide everything from logos, copy writing, artwork, or photographs. But if you are providing us some of your own content, we'll gather it from you at this point so we can design around your look and feel.
3) Proposed Design: Review our proposed design and/or copy for your web site, logo design, stationery layout, banner ad, or brochure and let us know what comments you have.
4) Revision: We'll make the updates and present it to you for approval.
5) Finalization: We'll build your site and publish your site!
6) Website Maintenance: It is important to keep your web site up-to-date, both for accuracy and for search engine optimization purposes. We offer several alternatives: we can update your site on a pay-as-you-go basis, or an annual contract; or you can update your website built on a content management system, or easily make basic updates to websites with a click of a button with Contribute Creative Suite 3.

UmeWorks, LLC is a registered Limited Liabilty Company in the State of California, founded in 2007.
Denise Shiozawa
Born in Los Angeles and a graduate of UCLA, Denise Shiozawa is the owner of UmeWorks, LLC. After a successful career at a Fortune 100 high tech company, Denise founded UmeWorks to fulfill her creative interests. To enhance the skills and experience gained working on intranet sites, Denise completed a Certified Internet Webmaster program, studied art at OTIS College of Art and Design, and obtained PayPal Developer Certification. In addition, Denise's extensive experience in customer advocacy, primary research, program management, and general business management enables her to effectively communicate with UmeWorks clients in assessing their needs and to successfully deliver the desired results. To stay current on local business trends, Denise is a proud member of the Torrance Chamber of Commerce, South Bay Network, and LHH SoBay JSWT.
Jami Miyamoto is an affiliate Graphic Designer for UmeWorks. After graduating from Cal Arts School of Design, Jami worked at prominent graphic design houses for many well-known corporate clients. She then founded her business, Studio Roja, which offers her fun and funky jewelry and gifts.
Crys Rivers provides business services for UmeWorks’ clients, consulting on and drafting terms of use and privacy policies for their websites. Crys received her BA in Political Science from North Carolina State University and her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur herself, Crys worked for both Fortune 100 and venture capital-funded companies with primary responsibilities including corporate contracts (including software and cyberspace), compliance functions and people management.
UmeWorks also works with experienced photographers, illustrators, and programmers to offer a full complement of skills and experience to fulfill your project needs successfully.
